Gaming PC That Mines While Idling Hits Market in Russia

Russians seem to have their priorities right, as far as my fluttering gamer’s heart is concerned. They figured those beastly gaming computers that can boast incredible performance stats can be utilized for more than just gaming. It is no secret that gaming has made a huge impact on cryptocurrencies, as early miners quickly discovered that gaming videocards are the way to go for efficient mining. For a while anyway, before ASIC’s stepped in. The idea of my gaming PC mining Vitalik Buterin’s heavenly mana Ethereum, does indeed pique my curiosity. Most real gamers would probably tell you that you can set up your computer to do just that on your current computer. Still, it is a very neat idea and caters to the more mainstream PC gamer.

Hong Kong Continues Taking Regulatory Action, Hopes to Become International Blockchain Hub

It seems every country under the sun is trying to become THE blockchain hub. Well, maybe not India. But if there is one that has a chance is Hong Kong. A business metropolis that seems to fit the bill perfectly. Time will tell as new laws are being placed in order to bring in legitimate investors while deterring criminal activities. It is a tight rope to walk as the latter often shackles and impedes on the former. All eyes on you Hong Kong.

‘Stop Trying To Create Money,’ BIS Chief Tells Young Bitcoiners

Because we are all so inclined to obey overweight and overpaid “old-money” proponents, we should quit all this “Crypto” nonsense, stop inventing things and just simmer down. No dad, there are going to be some changes around the house from now on. Who would have thought a general manager of Bank of International Settlements could say such things. Such left field. Wow. Much surprise.

Ethereum’s Growing Gas Crisis (And What’s Being Done to Stop It)

The Ethereum network has been raked by incredibly high gas prices all week. And here i was hoping gas price climbs to ridiculous peaks are a physical life exclusive. Apparently not. For a transaction to be accepted into the blockchain users at peak gas price had to pay upwards of $3.20 or wait longer than 30 minutes. Considering just a few years ago traditional bank transfer could take over a week, it is not that bad. Still, this is what crypto is all about, namely NOT paying  BIS chief’s salaries for transfer that can take days.
